Assign companion images manually
Set explicit relationships when filenames alone cannot identify the correct companions.

01Select one image group
Select images from the same experiment, membrane and region, then open companion settings. Similar filenames alone do not establish a match.
02Assign each image type
Inspect the sources and assign chemiluminescence, overlay, white-light or whole-membrane roles. Check exposure labels and signal groups when they differ.
03Save and check
Turn off Remember this format when editing only this group, then save the companions. Inspect the saved matches and correct them if necessary.
