Crop and save a band

Select six samples and both band rows on the Chemi original, then save the protein name and molecular weights.

Before you startImport the original chemiluminescence images for your target and reference.

Illustrated guide

01Choose the original and draw the crop

In Strip editing, select 20261006 1-2 GSDMD_Chemi.png. A band is a horizontal signal; a lane is a vertical sample column. Drag a centre line across all six lanes and enter GSDMD on the right.

Choose the original and draw the crop

02Include both band rows

Drag the top and bottom handles to include both GSDMD rows. Check that all six lanes and both signals are complete; choose the height to fit your own original.

Include both band rows

03Adjust position and angle

Drag an orange endpoint to adjust the angle, or drag inside the crop to move it as a whole. In the right-hand preview, check that all six lanes and both band rows remain inside.

Adjust position and angle

04Place 53 and 30 kDa labels

kDa is the molecular-weight unit. Enter 53, click Click image to place, then click beside the upper signal. Enter 30 and repeat both actions beside the lower signal. Each label can be dragged independently.

Place 53 and 30 kDa labels

05Save the target, then its reference

Click Save strip after checking the preview. A save message appears and the button becomes Update strip. Next select 20261006 1-1 HSP90_Chemi.png, crop its single row across the same six samples, enter HSP90 and save it for the reference row in your figure.
