Who operates this site

Antibody Notes is operated by Shen as an individual. For privacy or comment-removal requests, email samskaras@163.com. Reading requires no account. The software website has a separate privacy policy for its accounts and payments.

Comments and operational records

Submitted comments normally require administrator review. An approved nickname, experimental context, comment text and time are public. Pending and hidden comments remain private; their content and reply relationships are retained for review and correction or deletion requests. Do not submit sensitive personal information, unpublished research or contact details. To request correction or deletion, email Shen with the page and comment details.

To prevent abuse, troubleshoot and operate the site, the server may process IP address, browser information, request paths, time and response status. Comment quotas use an IP digest with a server secret salt; the digest remains linkable operational information. Quota metadata for successful submissions is removed in batches after expiry and is separate from comment content. Moderation records contain the administrator identity, status changes, reason and time. Essential logs follow operational retention rules.

Baidu and Google analytics

On your first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or set optional measurement. Eligible public reading pages load Baidu Analytics and Google Analytics only after you accept visit analytics. Antibody Notes and the software website share the same origin and the same valid choice, so you do not need to choose twice. Your browser saves the choice for 180 days. We ask again after expiry or a change of purpose. You can change it anytime using Privacy and measurement settings in the footer. DNT or GPC keeps optional measurement off. Administration, discussion and pages containing sensitive or unrecognized parameters are excluded.

Both providers may receive IP address, browser and device details, visit time, public page path and browser-provided referrer, and may set or read their own identifiers. We do not actively send comment text, account information or free-form inputs, and advertising personalization is disabled. Supported campaigns use approved labels for aggregate reports without linking their source to your account. Google may process visit data outside China. Rejecting or withdrawing your choice stops future optional requests. A page with an already loaded analytics script may refresh. Withdrawal does not automatically erase data a provider already received. Each provider has its own retention and rights procedures.

Our own metrics and contact

With your consent and first-party statistics enabled, we measure public-page categories and interactions without storing comment text, and respect DNT and GPC. Essential service logs may remain. Email samskaras@163.com to request access, correction or deletion of data we hold; we will verify and process the request under applicable rules.
